Hey guys! Today I just wanted to share with you how I kept track of my hours of observation. Now, some schools are gonna have specific forms that they want for you to fill out, um, that deal with hours of observation where you actually record your hours of observation on those forms. But, other schools are just going to have you go through OTCAS or, um, they might just ask you for the exact number of hours, um, so this is how I kept track of my hours of observation that I had for schools that didn't need a form or also just so that I had a record of where I observed and who I observed with and for how long, so that at the end if an occupational therapist wanted to know while they were filling out my forms or writing a letter of recommendation how many hours I had observed with them, I could just go back and calculate. So, what I did, um, in addition to if any schools had specific forms handling hours of observation that they needed me to fill out was I created a word document in which I recorded my hours of observation. And I printed this sheet out and I took it with me every time that I observed. Um, and I had written on it, so, it kind of looks something like this, um, I had the where I observed, the date, the time that I started my observation and the time my observation ended, I had the name of the therapist and the name of the facility, and then I also had the signature of the therapist, so I had them sign at the end of every single time that I observed. That way, they could look back if they didn't believe me on the number of hours, which I didn't have a problem with,...
